Before-School Extended Day Program Instructor Position
Location: 3600 Georgia Ave. NW Washington DC 20010 (Middle School campus) 

E.L. Haynes Public Charter School, located in Northwest Washington, D.C., is seeking dynamic individuals to fill positions in our exceptional Extended Day Program. Positions are ideal for creative individuals seeking a career in education or those who have a deep interest in, love for, and commitment to working with children in 5th through 8th grade.

Time Commitment: Positions are part-time, totaling at least 10 hours per week. Employees are required to work 7:00-9:00 AM on our Georgia Avenue campus with our Middle School students.

Recommended Qualifications:  Preferred applicants will have child-care experience, lesson-planning experience, and an interest in education and/or child development.

Responsibilities:  Providing a safe environment for students during before-school/breakfast.

Expectations:  Staff members will be expected to display professionalism in all aspects of this position, including arriving at school on time, dressed professionally and prepared to work, and reinforcing the student behavior expectations of the E.L. Haynes Year-round Programs Department. 

Compensation:  Salaries will range from $12.50-$16/hr.
