We provide a rigorous and engaging curriculum for students in grades Pre-K through 12. Our instructional program provides intensive learning experiences that deepen understanding at all grade levels so that every student is prepared to become kind and curious community members, lifelong learners, and leaders of social justice.

About the position:

Extended Day Program (EDP) Group Leaders serve as the primary teacher for students during our before and after school programming. They design and implement engaging and fun academic learning experiences aligned to our daytime programming. EDP Group Leaders are part-time E.L. Haynes contractors who work closely with daytime staff in service of our overall school mission and graduate profile. 

 

EDP staff are expected to be on site from 6:45-8:15 am for before care and from 3:00-6:00 pm for aftercare on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; as well as from 12:30-6:00 on Wednesdays. Current ELH staff members wishing to work aftercare would begin at 4:00.

Pay rate is $30/hour (pay rate for current non-exempt E.L. Haynes employees will follow overtime rules).
